Usually I go to the city and walk. I walk a lot in the old part of town looking for scenery that makes an impression. I dont really plan or set up scenes. Thats why sometimes I walk 3 hours, and then go home without making an image. I use little film, and usually make one image of an idea, and dont go back later. Thats a kind of pressure on myself to try to achieve the best results. I also like the philosophy of Cartier-Bresson, so I never crop my images.
