How I got into photography is a pretty hard question with a weird answer I think. My first pictures I shot at the age of 12 when I was quite sure that I would become a detective in the future. With a plastic camera I walked around for hours in search of crime scenes. I was very passionate about securing evidence in order to pick up rewards... Well, it never happened and so my focus turned at some point from detective work to photography.

It was pretty cool to sell my first pictures at a time where most of my friends were in trouble handling their pocket money. I felt quite successful but to be honest I must have done a lot of awful cliche pictures. When I was 15 I got a call by a photo editor from a stock agency, who wanted to buy some photos for postcards and he was really shocked when he found out that I was a teenie and not the 60-year-old amateur photographer he expected by seeing my pictures at that time.
