For fashion and commercial work you need a team for sure. For model testing you don't need it but I am starting to feel that I'd love to find someone to work with me as a stylst. For my personal work I just shoot. I don't do posed pictures I just take images of the environment and people around me (that is how my last series "Badlands" was born: I was living for a year in a suburb area in Moscow in a shitty apartment and I shot all around me - my boyfriend naked with the gun, my friends getting wasted at concerts and so on. It all comes together in a picture of the romance of desperation)
It's always great to have no limits. I like to take pictures, the subject is not so important. Sure I prefer people but if I don't have any around I will shoot buildings or nature or myself.
