At the beginning of my career, I was always plowed under with work every day so I had no time to spare to shoot any personal work. Now I generally do fashion photography, sometimes commercial and advertisement. There are several teams of fashion workers for each brand. In the case of advertisement work I suggest the members and we often work together.
