I discovered photography quite randomly, one of those things that may or may not happen and this thought sometimes drives me crazy since now photography is one of the biggest things in my life and to think without that particular set of circumstances I could be somewhere else, with someone else, doing something else, just blows my mind.

I have been totally self-taught until very recently, I started studying fashion photography at London College of Fashion last September so I can say that I have lived the most important years of my photography training by myself, reading, looking, assisting.

In 2010, after only 2 years since I first started getting interested in photography, I won a talent contest held by Vogue Italia and had the chance to shoot an editorial for and with them, working side by side with experienced and incredibly talented people from the industry. This is something I will remember with pleasure as a good breaking point.

Disappointments are part of everyday life, big or small it really doesn't matter. I think that artists in general need to make their skin thick if they want to pursue a dream. A strong will in succeeding against all odds, that is the most important thing in my opinion.
