The photographer later upgraded his equipment and  offered me a deal on his old camera. I played around with it for a bit. I was happy but didn’t really know what I was doing. Another photographer I worked with wanted to learn to do his own body painting so we exchanged body painting lessons for photography lessons. I think barter is a great way to learn. I’ve also bartered with models where I would paint and shoot them in exchange for their posing.
