I started making collages during my second year of uni when my painting teacher suggested it as a good technique to create a composition that could later be painted. Eventually I realised I enjoyed the collaging part more than the painting. I am completely in love with the process of collaging and how by sheer chance (or sometimes lengthy calculation) I can create an unearthly composition that makes no sense yet simultaneously speaks volumes.
