It's only over the last 6 months or so that I've started using a team and it's made such a difference to both my output and to my confidence. My work used to be so limiting, I had a concept but I didn't have the skills to make it happen. I can't apply eyeshadow, and I can't braid hair. Lately though, I've built up a tight little group, and they're all so professional and precise, I can guarantee whatever they do will be perfect. It means the pressure lies on me, but I kind of like that.

I used to photograph anything and everything, I've shot a lot of incredibly tedious things, a water calendar, a chocolate menu... I hope these things never see the light of day!

Photography heros? Brian Duffy is my personal favourite, his model control was amazing, and the fact he was that little bit crazy just adds to the charm.

As for inspiration, it's always nice to leaf through a copy of Dazed & Confused or GQ, really love the work of Kai Z Feng, and Shane Woodward, so I always check in on their latest stuff.
