I try to keep up to date with modern art, design and graphic installations. As of late, I have been impressed by Alessandra Sanquinetti, Erin Jane Nelson, Rafa Castells, Matt Stuart, Natalie Kaplan. It inspires me to a great extent -- as well as makes me realize the futility of my own attempts.
I enjoy cinematography and books a lot more than I do photography. Impressionism in literature remains a ready source of inspiration -- I am talking about Virginia Woolf here. Other favorite writers include James Baldwin, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Jerome D. Salinger, Joseph Brodsky, John Updike, Michael Cunningham.
