I was originally a graphic artist primarily in the music industry, with a parallel (and sometimes co-joined) career in designing and printing t-shirts. I began using a computer for designing record sleeves, so when I was shown a copy of Mosaic it inspired me to spend a decade of creating work for "inside the screen". Years of creating graphics for music led to exploring the relationship between visual interface and sound generation. Culminating in creating the award winning cd-rom "Soundbox" released in Japan and Europe, and a suite of pieces entitled "Algorhythms" shown in galleries.

If visual work needs it's own explanation then perhaps it's failed. But we all enjoy a back story, the "bring your own meaning to the work" line is a bit cliched isn't it...
