Because I didn’t get my 5 GCSE “C” grades college wouldn’t let me do Art & Photography, I tried showing them my portfolio and that I had a strong interest in it but all they cared about was if I passed Science or Geography.
The teacher then turned around and said “With your grades you won’t be successful”.
Soon after I dropped out of college because it wasn’t for me ... they made me redo my Science & Maths which wasn’t interesting me at all. However negative criticism pushes me even more, I want to prove that person wrong and overcome their disbelief. I am now doing a Photography course “Institute” outside of college, I am two weeks in and I’m finding it really interesting
