The first thing you notice about this book is its weight. This thing is massive, the glossy pages have enough clay in them to make a set of china dishes I'm sure. I've lifted lighter bicycles.

The Red Bull Illumine Image Quest 2010 is a collection in book form of the top freesports images submitted to the contest. From 22,764 photos submitted by 4773 photographers in 112 countries were selected 250 semi finalists, 50 finalists, 10 category winners and one overall winning image, which was a little hard to identify at first. This is the shot, by Chris Burkard.

If the above sounds a bit like a set of sports statistics, these are sports images. Wonderful, emotional, spirited sports images that are well worth a look in this impressively large book. At 4500 numbered copies, you will likely be able to find a copy for yourself for a couple of more months.
