I started getting into fashion and beauty portraits when I purchased my own camera from my first full time job in 2008. I did test shoots with friends at first, and then we would organize shoots and collaborated with makeup artists and models. And the more we organized and met new people, the more I got into it and it was all I could think about. I started reading more about photography and photoshop. With more shoots, I started understanding the camera and what I looked for and wanted in my photos a lot more.

Last year, a friend asked me to submit my photos to the Harpers BAZAAR Canon Fashion Photography Awards (Malaysia), and I was a recipient in the commendable category. Never in my life have I thought I would see my work in Harpers BAZAAR, it was such a surprise and a motivating experience and it made me push myself more to be a better fashion photographer. At this moment, I would say I am still in the early stages of my photography career.

I would love to be able to do fashion photography full time. It would be amazing to be able to work with a creative teams who share the same passion on a daily basis. I thrive off creative challenges.
