In my second semester I took a beginner's photo class and fell in love with it.  I was the best photographer in that class and my teacher pushed me to keep on.  I interned for Mary Ellen Mark that summer and that helped me to learn my way around a studio.  She's great, always helpful and I could go to her whenever, even if she is a super busy lady.

I built up my portfolio enough and applied to art schools and got into Parsons the New School for Design.  Going there helped me to figure out the direction that I wanted my work to go in.  I graduated in May of 2009 and freelanced and worked at a cafe.
