My focus is always primarily on fashion editorial, I love the creative freedom it allows.  I usually come up with an idea and develop it over the next couple of days, which I will sketch down. I find sketches are the best way to communicate your ideas to others, especially if the idea is very conceptual, like this shoot.  I will then cast for a team.  I always strive to work with at least a make up artist and hair stylist.  I have been very lucky to have worked with some incredibly talented people over the last year and a half since graduating.  I enjoy working in large teams as everyone has so many ideas to bring to the shoot and it's so exciting watching it evolve.

I have many heroes but Annie Leibovitz is certainly at the top.  Every photograph she has taken is just breathtaking.  I also greatly admire Tim Walker and Gregory Crewdson.

I find inspiration from absolutely everywhere, when I was first starting out I was often inspired by literature, especially Classics and fairytales, though now I enjoy creating my own characters, I am lucky to have a very active imagination.
