Nic Tucker
was born 6.6.1948, Devon, England.
So I wanted to be a photographer. I left school and worked as an assistant, then as a freelance assistant, mostly advertising, design companies, and commercials, at the same time as doing editorial work, a lot of magazine portraits, and my own jobs.
When I started most things were shot on 10 X 8, or 6 X 6 except the fashion which was either Hasselblad or Nikon.
One of my early cameras shot on glass plates, but that was a few years old when I got it.
