My wife had always avidly captured any occasion with her point and shoot camera.  One year I bought her an SLR camera to encourage her to pursue her hobby more seriously.  Her occupation is very demanding, so for weeks she hadn't an opportunity to learn how to use the camera and I decided to learn myself, solely with the intention of teaching her and saving her the time to learn.  Over a year later, I find myself entrenched in projects and publications, while still trying to schedule with my wife her first photography lesson.  My artful side was renewed in the form of photography and thanks to my wife.
