My introduction to photography happened many years ago at age 15 when I unexpectedly inherited a truckload of camera equipment. Not only did it include your standard black box Kodak but also 2 bellows cameras and a complete darkroom.

Included was one little brown manual from Kodak explaining film and print development but the item that stands out the most in my mind was the small set of retouching inks that came with some fine micro paintbrushes. These were used to retouch your final prints in case some dust imprints appeared during your developing/printing processes.

We’ve come a long way since then!
