Through our lovely model Felicia, I met up and coming designer Danielle Magnusson. Our visions were astonishingly similar. Immediately upon seeing her collection I decided my series would be titled "Hunting Season is Now Closed." Unbeknownst to me, Danielle had named her collection "The Hunting Party." As she aptly puts it, her collection was conceived by the idea of the hunter being consumed by their prey, a role reversal of sorts: the feeling of no longer being in control of your desires, a hunger for fur and skins, and an animalistic need to express yourself. Using jacquard interior fabrics, recycled furs, and new and recycled leathers, The Hunting Party exhibits feminine silhouettes with fitted waists and accentuated hips.
