Vandiak would return to Lviv in 1984 to obtain a new stage in yet another medium, stained glass art. The reflection of light through glass has always had a direct impact on his work, be it sculpture or painting.

On another journey that would take him further from his home than he had ever gone, Vandiak came to Toronto, Canada in 1998.
