I began shooting photographs at ten, in a wedding photographed by my father. For years I was shooting weddings that my father didn't want to shoot.

After that I was very little inclined to be a photographer until I finished my studies in electronic engineering in 1990. During the next few years I was writing for a newspaper, teaching architectural drawing (until 2000), programming (I wrote my “graduation project” about speech recognition) and shooting photos for several hairstyle magazines and cultural reviews (some interviews and portraits of personalities in the Spanish cultural world).

I think it was around 1997 when I decided to leave photography for engineering, but I got back in 2005. From 1999 to 2002 I worked as a freelance translator for several translation agencies: books, manuals, etc.

Actually I never left the photography, from 1994 until nowadays I have been writing technical articles for photographic magazines. In 2003 I published my first book as an author “Lighting Techniques in Photography and Cinematography”.

Since 2005 I have worked as a full time photographer and teacher of photography.
