I originally became interested in photography by marrying a photographer.  This eventually led me to leave my job in fashion and work as a studio
manager for another photographer and eventually begin my own business as a producer and later a casting director.  During this period I had a lot of free time since I worked freelance.  A friend gave me an SX70 Land Camera as a present and I started experimenting with it.  I showed the images to a few friends who are art directors - they were very encouraging and through another friend I was introduced to a curator who eventually gave me my first solo show.  Presently I do not actively show my photography in galleries but have had many publishing opportunities.  I make my money as a casting director since I was losing interest in photography when I was trying to make a living from it.

I spent a lot of time hanging out with photographers and going to galleries.  I have no schooling or training in photography or art.  I actually like the naive approach I took to it - I was shooting by emotion rather than shooting technically
