Carlo Emilio Menichelli (1973) and Oscar Dido Fontana (1971) have been working independently on various artistic projects (performance, installation, painting and photography etc.). Their first meeting was in the early 90’s, a period in which they decided to develop a series of critical works on mankind’s social condition.

Through the application of various media they desecrate the ethical, social and philosophic aspects of our times. Towards the end of the 90’s, under the name of Menichelli&Fontana, they began an artistic project on aesthetics in our everyday lives. These studies, in continual evolution, question and overturn our ethical and aesthetical standards, while refusing to disassociate artistic performance from real life.
