Working in visual media is my destiny - before I discovered photography I always felt like I had not found what I was looking for. I studied Marine Biology and did various jobs until at the age of 27. After my row attempt I realized that photography was where it was at. I immediately picked up a camera. I did not study it - I assisted for 2.5 years and taught myself the rest.

As for assisting, been there done that - but if I had my time again I would have loved to assist Annie Liebovitz or Steven Klein
