My series entitled TRANSITIONS involves models in water that is lit from underneath.  It represents the lucid state between being awake and asleep.  Imagine this state: when you get up in the morning, climbing out of that dream world into consciousness.  The world is slightly off kilter; slightly skewed. I would have to say my greatest influences would be painters: Van Gogh, Degas.  Secondary influence comes from literature, movies, and music.  I really like Ed Burtynsky’s work – which made me realize that I could really pursue photography to a different level.
