Aaron

Aaron is the friend I spent a lot of time with in the darkroom when I first got to boarding school. We were roomates until I was expelled but later returned. He however did not come back and I was out of touch with him until this last year. He is Matt's older brother and he has been a big influence on both of us. I consider them both more as brothers than best friends. When I shot this he was living in a closet sized room in an apartment on capitol hill. An avid cyclist and analog recording artist there was barely any room to move inside the living space. His bed was located near the ceiling in a loft. A truly unique room and a truly unique person. This is my favorite portrait.
