I guess the area I'm most interested in would be portraiture. I like images that tell a story and at the same time give a glimpse of the character of the model.
I also like to shoot classic (20's-40's) glamour pictures with dramatic lighting, sets and wardrobe. Themes I keep coming back to are 'defiance' and 'escape' - and in general I like images where people find themselves in desperate situations and where just surviving is an act of defiance - and the idea of escape provides hope.
Shooting classic-style pinups has also been fun and a great chance to try some bold color combinations - I think I would like to try more of them while exploring different themes.
