For the first number of years my focus was anything but people. I concentrated on landscape and nature photography. It wasn’t until I photographed a friend's granddaughter that I learned of the appreciation I had for the joy of portraiture.
There are so many photographers who inspire me; Edward Weston, Alfred Steiglitz, Herb Ritts, Patrick Demarchelier, James White and Richard Avedon to name a few. I'd love to assist Annie Leibowvitz or James White. My hero is anyone else who photographs and can make a living at it.
