I now work in portrait, fashion and journey imagery. Anything which has a strong narrative. I’m working almost entirely in the fine art arenas now. I do an enormous amount of commissioned work and have just finished up a very heavy month with five shows.

I am now making a living in photography and for that I am grateful every day. To do it, you need commitment and excellence. Now, to make a living you don’t necessarily have to be excellent, you just have to be driven and know how to promote and be good enough to get the job done well. We see this all of the time. But it’s still no excuse not to be excellent. Develop good business skills or partner with someone who does. Know your weaknesses and compensate by finding people that are strong in those areas. Someday I’ll follow my own advice…

One client I would like to shoot for is Neiman Marcus. I think they have a great, bold vision. Their portfolio campaigns are some of the strongest in the world. With any client I'd ask that they trust me to be excellent on their behalf. Communicate with me and lay out a solid vision and game plan.

A few years down the road I’d like to have a book. It’s a major goal of mine. I would also like to get back into film which is a passion that I’ve put on hold to focus on the photography.
