I was born in 1975, in the small town of Ogre, in Latvia. I finished secondary shool there and afterwards studied in trade school in  the capital of Latvia - Riga. Now I work in building and construcion, photography is just my hobby, which I got more serious about 2 years ago when my wife and I bought our first digital SLR. Since then I have started to post my photos on different web sites such as photo.net and photosight.ru. I also started to post my photos in contests, both local and international. I won first prize in a local photo contest "The Romance of the Autumn Leaf" in 2004, and received 2nd prize in the international youth photo contest " Cantabria + 10". My wife and I have had 2 photo exhibitions in our local town and we also collaborated on her one day exhibition in Riga, in the youth club " Depo". My wife's work can be found at  sundewart.com We have 2 children who very often are our models, we have a daughter, Linda , who is 8, and a son Daniels who is 6.
