Little Red Riding Hood

My first revelation of woman's beauty began early.  It was at the Opera, a nightmare I was obliged to attend from the very impressionable age of seven.  My only reward following the torment of arias was the ballet. Young beautiful, graceful creatures, unreachable angels floating in space in a magic setting of lights and music!  I was in love with all of them.

The wonder of that impressionable age has never left me.

At age 12 I was delivered from the Opera ordeal by my professor of natural history who took me under his wing and helped me discover nature.  This led to an apprenticeship at the Museum of Natural History in Marseilles.  Caving, exploring abysses and underground rivers had a great impact on my photography, and later on my career as a museum designer.
