The only subject that really fuels my passion for photography is people. We human beings are nature's masterpiece and most complex organism where one person is capable of communicating their life experience in 1/60th of a second when coming into focus before my camera's lens. To me the ability to capture the essence of a human being is truly an amazing phenomenon worthy of sharing with as many people as possible.

This man was sitting in the park with his dog enjoying a very hot summer afternoon.  After a brief conversation, he agreed to be photographed.  In return, I promised to mail him a couple of pictures.  That was in July. In October, I saw the man again sitting in the same park, under the same tree.  I stopped to say hello and he showed me two of the photographs I had mailed him.  He said he carried them with him all the time.  One was the man and his dog, the other was this image.  I thought that was interesting so I asked him why he liked the photograph.  He just smiled and said, “I look relaxed.”
