The inspiration for the make up was completely Allison's, she wanted to express a feeling of an animal/predator and a peaceful/pursued/plantlife all powerful things in the natural world.... she used eyelash glue to stick the various leaves on herself... and she uses M.A.C make up pretty exclusively. Once I knew the idea, I planned the background, lighting, and the rest of the shoot... she really is the artist here.
